Dalhousie Lake Governance
The Dalhousie Lake Association (DLAI) governance framework is outlined in the Association by-laws as amended and ratified at the 2025 Dalhousie Lake Association Annual General Meeting on August 23, 2025. The DLAI is a not-for-profit corporation and as such, its by-laws conform to the Ontario Not-For-Profit Corporations Act.

In compliance with its By-Laws and best practices, the DLAI is committed to conducting all its affairs in an open and transparent manner. The primary mechanism for engaging with members is an AGM typically held in August of each year. This AGM includes a call for nominations, votes and confirmation of Directors of the DLAI, reports on activities and priorities and financial disclosures. The material for upcoming AGMs and other meetings including Minutes of the AGM (August 24, 2024) will be posted on this website under "News". Note that certain information, including financial statements, results of the water testing program conducted by the Lake Association and specific materials related to the DLAI AGM will be made available to Association members only.
